Our Mission

Collective Action: Climate Change and Air Pollution
Advocate for Our Future: Clean Energy and Utilities
Catalyze Change: Sea Level Rise and Sustainable Development

Climate change is impacting us now, everyday, everywhere. Effective, sustainable solutions require strategic and collective action. Climate Change Law Foundation (CCLF) is committed to being a catalytic force to drive the systemic change required to mitigate and avoid the most devastating impacts of climate change.

Climate change is the most pressing environmental issue of our time, with profound effects across all sectors of society. Public health, economies and livelihoods, ecosystems, and stable societies are all at risk. As we approach the climatic tipping point, it is clear that combating climate change is foundational to addressing all other environmental issues.

If left unchecked, climate change stands to impoverish over 100 million people by 2030, and eliminate over 1 million species by 2050. Extreme weather, irreversibly altered ecosystems, sea level rise, failed crops, air pollution, and political instability are just some of the devastating impacts associated with climate change. The cascading effects of a rapidly warming planet are unacceptably high, and necessitate immediate action.

The need for urgent action is now, and CCLF is working to drive broad scale change through legal advocacy and policy solutions. With a rare breadth and depth of expertise, our Board of Directors is uniquely well positioned to guide forward progress and achieve enduring results. The stakes could not be higher but CCLF is driven by the belief that leveraging the diverse voices of our members and our strong network of partners, change is possible.
